I currently live in Inman, SC with my husband Marcus and toddler son Owen. You will probably hear a lot about him throughout the school year. I always have stories to tell about his adventures (I'm sure you remember your child's toddler years!).
I graduated from USC Upstate in 2005 and finished my Master's degree from Lesley University in 2009. I started my teaching career at Chandler Creek Elementary in Greer. After teaching there for two years I got married and moved to Inman. Then I started teaching at Inman Elementary school and stayed there for four fantastic years. Last year was my first year at Holly Springs Motlow teaching the half day 4K. I decided to take this job to be able to spend more time with Owen. I love being here at Holly Springs Motlow! The fellow teachers and families I've met are wonderful. I hope to be here for many years to come!
In my spare time (ha, ha!) I enjoy reading books, spending time on Pinterest, and playing with Owen. I also love going to the beach and eating yummy ice cream.
I just want to let you know that I plan to teach your child as if they were my own. I plan to love them, care for them, and help each of them succeed. I hope that this school year will be a great learning experience for all of us. Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions, comments, or concerns.
